17-year-old Anna Huang secured her fourth title on the Ladies European Tour (LET) after a dominant two-stroke victory at the PIF London Championship.
Leading since the opening round, the Canadian entered Sunday’s final round at Centurion Club with a three-shot advantage over home favorite Charley Hull. Huang maintained the same steady momentum she’d shown throughout the week, parring much of the front nine before rolling in a pair of birdies at the 6th and 8th. Hull kept at her heels, also making birdie at the 6th, then another at the 9th, just as Huang dropped her first shot making the turn. From there, the Englishwoman piled on the pressure, picking up two more birdies at the 13th and 15th.
Although Huang birdied the 15th, her approach at the 16th found the water, leading to a costly bogey. Hull capitalized, making birdie at the same hole to seize the lead for the first time and prompting cheers from the crowd. But Hull’s advantage was short-lived as she stumbled to a costly double bogey at the penultimate hole. And while she closed with a birdie, it was not enough to catch Huang, who produced a superb eagle at the 18th to seal the title in style at 22 under.
“That was probably the most thrilling round of golf of my life, that was crazy. I have no words. I’m just so shocked,” said Huang afterwards. “I knew coming down three tough holes was not easy and I tried to focus on each shot because anything can happen in golf and I stayed in my own lane.
“I can’t believe I made another eagle [on 18]. I focused on the putt and made a good stroke, and it went in. Charley is such a phenomenal player and playing with her in the past two days in the final group has been really cool. The crowds have been cheering really loud, so it was really fun to be part of the last group.”
The victory marks Huang’s fourth LET title since her rookie debut in 2025. Her first came at the 2025 La Sella Open, and was followed by another at the 2025 Lacoste Ladies Open de France. She won the Lalla Meryem Cup in May of this year to pick up her third title, and over the weekend, she officially became the youngest-ever player to take home four LET titles at the age of 17 years, 9 months and 10 days. The previous record was held by Lydia Ko aged 18 years, 4 months and 20 days.
“I’ve always looked up to Lydia [Ko], she’s always been my idol growing up,” Huang continued. “There’s so much to admire about her game. She’s so calm and composed. Jeeno [Thitikul] is the biggest rising star of our generation and being part of that small group is special.”
While Hull settled for second place at 20 under, Singapore’s Shannon Tan claimed third at 17 under. Thailand’s Patty Tavatanakit placed fourth at 15 under and Australia’s Kelsey Bennett rounded off the top 5 a shot adrift at 14 under.
