New PGA TOUR Season Guide for 2020

Official PGA TOUR Essential Guide to Golf 2020

The new PGA TOUR season is here and looking different than ever with the litany of adjustments that are in effect due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With over 11 cancelled events and more up in air, this golf season has been one for the history books, however the PGA TOUR Essential Guide to Golf has golf fans covered with intensive guides to the past and upcoming TOUR events.

So much can change in so little time, and this is evident when looking at the 2019-2020 FedEx Cup season and the 2020-21 FedEx Cup Season. It wasn’t that long ago that games had spectators that were out on the green cheering along their favorite players. As we look into the 2020-21 season, major precautions have been taken into place.

Even though 11 events were cancelled amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the TOUR geared together for The Northern Trust and prepared for an exciting BMW Championship.  Here heavy hitters, such as the illustrious 26-year-old, California native, Bryson DeChambeau will be making their way onto the green to see who will come out victorious.

DeChambeau is a stand out amongst the competition with an impressive track record and new-and-improved playing style that helped him win the Rocket Mortgage Championship.  In the latest Summer 2020 Official PGA TOUR Essential Guide to Golf, you can find an in-depth analysis on which players TOUR experts think will come out on top of the competition..

COVID-19 changed the course of the TOUR season, however, there are still plenty of events that golf enthusiasts have to look forward to.

In the 2019-2020 FedEx Cup Season we have the TOUR Championship left before we ease into the jam-packed 2020-21 FedEx Cup Season, which kicks off with the Safeway Open on September 10-13. It the ends with the Mayakoba Golf Classic, held in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on December 3-6.

TOUR experts give you the rundown on past and future events in the Official PGA TOUR Essential Guide to Golf in the intensive guide to the 2019-20 FedEx Cup season on p. 121. The 2020-21 FedEx Cup season on p. 145 and the 2020 PGA TOUR Champions on p. 164.
