England’s Charley Hull secured her fifth LET title with a one-shot victory at the 2026 PIF Saudi Ladies International.
The 29-year-old started the final round in a share of 11th place, three shots off the lead, but fired through a round of 65 to come out on top. She rolled an early birdie at the 2nd, then another at the 7th to climb up the leaderboard. Then came a little wobble as she sunk her first bogey at the 8th but recovered with another quick birdie to close out the front nine. Although she bogeyed the 10th, she sunk a superb birdie-eagle-birdie combination through holes 11 to 13 that drove her ahead. In close contention, South Africa’s Casandra Alexander made three consecutive birdies on the same stretch just after the turn. Another birdie at the 15th set her on path to a possible play-off, as Hull also birdied the 15th. But Alexander dropped her second shot of the round at the 17th and settled for 18 under overall, opening the door for Hull who birdied the final hole to finish at 19 under and secure the win.
“It feels great. Wow, it’s gone a bit too fast today,” said Hull afterwards. “I was only two-under through nine holes and then I made a charge on the back nine. It was funny because last time I was around here my boyfriend said to me go out and make loads of birdies to begin with.
“He said to me last night ‘make loads of birdies coming in, you love chasing’ and that’s what I did. I feel great and I love this golf course. I like how this golf course has really matured over the years and it’s getting trickier each year. The grass is getting thicker and I really liked it. It was a good challenge.
“I worked really hard this off-season, so it’s nice to get a result pretty much straight away and it’s one of the bigger events on the LET. It’s the home event for me because I’m a Golf Saudi ambassador, so it’s nice to win for my sponsors.”
The victory marks Hull’s second time winning at Riyadh Golf Club after her last LET triumph in November 2024 at an Aramco Team Series event. It is also her first tournament win since the LPGA’s 2025 Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G.
Alexander shared second with Japan’s Akie Iwai while Spain’s Carlota Ciganda and South Korea’s Hye-Jin Choi closed out the top positions in a share of fourth place at 17 under.
What is the next event?
The next event on the Ladies European Tour schedule is the Ford Women’s NSW Open taking place between 26 February – 1 March at Wollongong Golf Club in Australia.
