5: The Pete Dye Course at French Lick Resort — French Lick, Indiana
The course named after American golfer and course designer, Pete Dye, is one that will certainly provide golfers with physical and mental challenges. Not only has the course have a total length of 8,100 yards, it is also known for its many “volcano” bunkers and series of elevation changes which more than likely cause a recipe for high scores. With a USGA rating of 80, it is the only course that reaches a score that high.
