La Jenny Golf Course in France is the world’s only naturist golf course

La Jenny Golf Course in Gironde, France, is the world’s only naturist golf course, where nudity is compulsory for all players. While most courses insist on collared shirts and proper shoes, La Jenny enforces a strict “undress code.” When the weather’s right, players must remove all clothing before teeing off on the six-hole, par-20 course. Set in a family naturist park on the Atlantic coast near Bordeaux, it welcomes beginners and experienced players alike, offering lessons and a relaxed clubhouse atmosphere.

Tiger Woods’s 1997 Masters win set a golf TV record of 20.3 million viewers

The Big Cat’s first major win at the 1997 Masters drew a record-setting TV audience of 20.3 million – the most ever in golf history. To set that into perspective, the final round of the 2025 Masters, the most-watched golf telecast since 2018, averaged 12.71 million viewers. Simply put, Tiger at his peak commanded far more attention. The next closest was the 2001 Masters, where he won again, drawing 19.2 million viewers.

At Silvies Valley Ranch in Oregon, trained goats act as golf caddies

At the livestock ranch and 52-hole golf resort, players can hire a goat caddy from their unique and sustainable goat farm. The goat caddies are specially trained to accompany golfers, with their world-famous training program ensuring they are comfortable and well-behaved on the course. They come saddled with a custom double golf bag and equipped with pouches for golf balls, drinks, and peanuts (the caddy’s favorite treat).

Babe Zaharias is the only woman ever to have made the cut on the PGA TOUR

LPGA co-founder and trailblazer Babe Zaharias made history as the only woman ever to make the cut on the PGA TOUR. She first achieved the feat at the 1945 Los Angeles Open, where she made the 36-hole cut, though a Saturday 81 kept her from playing on Sunday. Undeterred, she made the cut and completed all 72 holes at both the Phoenix Open and Tucson Open later that year, tying for fourth place in the latter. Zaharias played just one more Tour event, the 1946 L.A. Open, where she fell short of the weekend cut.
