How J.J. Spaun won in 2022

After being part of a four-way tie for the 54- hole lead, J.J. Spaun made a double bogey on the first hole of the final round but recovered to post his first PGA TOUR victory. Spaun made five birdies, all in a nine-hole span starting at the sixth hole, and no more blemishes in shooting a 69 to win by two as none of the other 54-hole leaders shot a subpar round.

  • Spaun had 23 birdies and an eagle during the week to lead the field in subpar holes.
  • Spaun made 15 of 16 putts in the five-to-ten foot range.
