Charlie Woods, 15-year-old son of iconic golfer Tiger Woods, will set his sights on qualifying for his first PGA TOUR event next week.

Charlie will compete in one of the four pre-qualifier events at Lost Lake Golf Club in Florida as he aims to secure a spot in the Cognizant Classic, which takes places between 29th February to 3rd March

This 18-hole pre-qualifier will see him compete to earn a place within the top 25 players who will advance to the final qualifier on Monday at Tesoro Club’s Palmer Course which will see four players seal a place in the Cognizant Classic, which will feature the likes of Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Justin Rose.

Charlie Woods recently participated in the PNC Championship alongside his father last December. Both Charlie and Tiger have taken part in the tournament for the past four years. He has also competed in last year’s Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship where he ended the event tied for 17th in the boys 14-15 division, with Tiger acting as caddie.
