COVID-19 Relief Game to Star Tiger Woods, Tom Brady

Tiger Woods, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady will play COVID-19 relief match

A spectacular COVID-19 relief golf match with the likes of Tiger Woods-Phil Mickelson and popular football legends Tom Brady and Peyton Manning is planned for May, according to a reliable source, Turner Sports.

Event will have no fans or spectators

”Champions for Charity” ,which this epic event has been tagged, is said to be a significant fundraising event for COVID-19 relief. This event will air live on TNT at an undisclosed location where there will be no spectators to maintain social distancing guidelines. 

Mickelson took to his Twitter saying.

“After feeling the sting of defeat the first time around, Looks like @TigerWoods is bringing a ringer to The Match (#PeytonManning),” wrote Mickelson, who then added he’s bringing Brady.

Manning told 104.3 “There were talks about doing it all along anyway”  Fans in Denver earlier this Wednesday had heard speculation about the event before it was even announced. “Having the opportunity to have a chance to play for a major fundraising event for COVID-19 relief,  “I’m all-in for that.”

Tom Brady publicly expressed enthusiasm

Brady replied on social media with enthusiasm, saying, ‘’I have been long waiting for a rematch with Peyton for the past four years and I expect a better result this time around.”

Brady was making reference to the AFC Championship game in January 2016, where he lost to Peyton Manning by 20-18 and also with Manning having a 3-2 edge.

Where will the COVID-19 relief event be?

The actual date and location for this epic match have not been decided. Nevertheless, a source told ESPN that the event would possibly take place in Florida. Turner Sports said there are making all necessary arrangements and efforts, working with the said event organizers, local government, and public health officials to ensure the event follows safety and health protocols to keep everyone healthy.
