PowaKaddy have come up with the perfect solution to a head-scratcher that has troubled most golfers. The answer to the puzzle is the PowaKaddy Compact C2 Electric Trolley.

Most golfers aren’t blessed with a caddy to carry the clubs during a round, others simply don’t have any desire to put their bag on their back and haul it around 18 holes every time they play. So the solution for most is a trolley—be it a pull golf trolley or an electric golf trolley.

PowaKaddy have long been an industry leader when it comes to the development of these trollies, introducing variable speed versions and models with built-in GPS.

But one problem has persisted. That being the size of the trolley when folded for transportation. With car boots getting less spacious, the room for both bag and trolley has become more precious. That has been the puzzle for most golfers—just how to load both pieces of equipment in the car.

That doesn’t have to be the case any longer, however, thanks to the launch of the PowaKaddy Compact C2 Electric Trolley in 2017. Two years of development seems to have been very worthwhile. Golfers will simply love what has been created.

The most compact trolley from the brand, no other electric trolley folds to a smaller size. The innovation comes from the trademarked “Simple-2-Fold” system which PowaKaddy has created. Instead of the previous central fold used in older versions like the Freeway range, the Compact C2 packs away with two simple folds to become a third of its size when upright.

It weighs just 9.8kg (without battery), making it one of the lightest electric trolleys in the marketplace. The Compact C2 folded down will fit even in the smallest of car boots. At the folded-down size, you’re looking at just 514mm high, 349mm wide and 560mm deep—figures that are a breath of fresh air to golfers.

You might wonder if the design and lighter weight of the PowaKaddy Compact C2 Electric Trolley makes it less robust that the earlier one-fold versions, but that simply isn’t the case. The PowaFrame chassis ensures this. There’s also no more wires to connect thanks to the Plug ‘n’ Play battery (18 or 36 hole Lithium versions are available) that has been developed.

It also includes all the usual features of ball, tee and pencil holder, an area for scorecards, and a full colour widescreen display to show battery life, power as well as an Automatic Distance Function (ADF) to send the trolley 15, 30 or 45 yards ahead.

There’s also a handy on-board USB charger for smartphones or GPS devices—although it uses the battery life of the trolley to do so. The handle can be adjusted to three different heights to suit your physique and shape.

A five-year warranty of the battery and a three-year warranty on the trolley itself gives you added peace of mind that you’re getting value for money for a product which will revolutionise the electric trolley market.
