Thomas Detry has become the latest player to make the switch from the PGA TOUR to LIV Golf as he joins Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC.

The 33-year-old Belgian joins the squad also comprised of 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed and former Ryder Cup player Thomas Pieters.

Detry joins for the 2026 season, bringing proven winning experience and an international pedigree, recently becoming the first player from Belgium to win on the PGA TOUR when he stormed to a seven-shot victory at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open. He ranks 58th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best result in a major came at the 2024 PGA Championship where he achieved a T4 finish.

“There’s an amazing vibe around the 4Aces that you feel right away,” Detry said. “You can see they play with confidence and there’s a definite swagger coming from all the guys… feeling like you belong on the biggest stages. That’s exactly the type of environment I want to be a part of.”

“This team is built for big moments, and 2026 is a chance for us to take another step forward,” Johnson added, who himself has signed a new multi-year extension with 4Aces GC. “Thomas Detry is a great addition; he’s confident, competitive, and that fits exactly what we’re about. We’ve got the talent, the chemistry, and the mindset to be right there all season.”

Detry joins Victor Perez, Laurie Canter, Scott Vincent, Yosuke Asaji, Richard T Lee and Bjorn Hellgren as new additions to the upcoming LIV Golf season teeing off in February at LIV Golf Riyadh.
