Following the conclusion of the regular season at last week’s Wyndham Championship, the 20th edition of the FedExCup Playoffs is upon us, teeing off this week with the FedEx St. Jude Championship as players battle it out for the prestigious FedExCup title.
Which Events Form Part of the FedExCup Playoffs?
The playoffs begin at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee for the FedEx St. Jude Championship between 13-16 August. The playoffs will then move on to Bellervine Country Club in St Louis, Missouri for the BMW Championship between 20-23 August. Following the BMW Championship will be the conclusion of the playoffs at the season-ending TOUR Championship taking place at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia between 27-30 August where the FedExCup Champion will be crowned and take home the $10 million prize.
Who Qualified for the Playoffs?
The current top 70 in the season-long FedExCup points list, culminated throughout the regular season, qualify for the first FedExCup playoff event. The top 10 players on the points prior to the FedEx St. Jude Championship are:

How do the FedExCup Playoffs Work?
Players inside the top 50 following the conclusion of the FedEx St. Jude Championship will qualify for the BMW Championship. Then the top 30 following the conclusion of the BMW Championship will advance to the season finale, the TOUR Championship. At the TOUR Championship, the 30 players compete with starting strokes based on seeding. The player leading the FedExCup points list prior to the event will begin with a 10 under score and the other players get progressively fewer starting strokes. The player who finishes top by having the lowest score will win the event and earn the FedExCup title.
