Besides his golfing prowess, Trump is a shrewd businessman and owns seven Trump National Golf Clubs across the U.S. in North Carolina, Florida, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Virginia, Philadelphia, and New York. The mogul has also invested in courses internationally in Dubai and Scotland.

George Strait – Tapatio Springs Golf Resort and Conference Center, Texas

In 2011, country music singer George Strait partnered with his friend Tom Cusick to acquire the 250-acre Tapatio Springs Golf Resort and Conference Center in Boerne, Texas. The expansive facility boasts a 27-hole golf course, a resort hotel, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. As a Boerne native, Strait sought to maintain his hometown’s legacy by buying and restoring the resort to its former glory.

Norman owns the Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, known as one of Florida’s most prestigious and exclusive golf getaways. Old-timers might remember Ron Jaworski as a former American football quarterback who played for the Eagles in the late seventies. Willie Nelson – Pedernales Country Club, Texas

Musicians have a special connection to golf, with country singer Willie Nelson closing off our list with his Pedernales Country Club in Lake Travis, Texas. Nelson purchased the facility that features a 9-hole golf course in 1979 after it had been declared bankrupt and built a recording studio. Ironically, the club got auctioned in 1991 after tax issues, but the singer later bought it back.
