Celine Boutier – 3 Titles
In July 2023, France’s Celine Boutier recorded her first major victory after winning the Evian Championship. A week later, she beat Kim Hyo-joo by two strokes to claim the Women’s Scottish Open. Boutier’s third victory of the year came at the LPGA Maybank Championship in October when she defeated Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul in a playoff.
Max Homa – 2 Titles
Max Homa’s first win for 2023 came in January when he won the PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open after registering a two-shot victory over Keegan Bradley. He then claimed his first victory outside of the U.S. when he won the European Tour’s Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa in November.
Matt Fitzpatrick – 2 Titles
After appearing in the Netflix sports documentary series Full Swing in February 2023, Matt Fitzpatrick recorded his first win of the year in April, beating Jordan Spieth in a playoff to win the RBC Heritage. In October, Fitzpatrick won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the Old Course at St. Andrews.
Yin Ruoning – 2 Titles
Yin Ruoning has been flying high since turning pro in 2020, boasting two Guinness World Records titles. Yin’s first victory came at the DIO Implant LA Open in April, where she finished a stroke ahead of Georgia Hall. In June, the 21-year-old clinched her first major at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Wyndham Clark – 2 Titles
2023 has been a year of many firsts for American golfer Wyndham Clark. He recorded his first PGA Tour victory in May after winning the Wells Fargo Championship. Clark then joined the major winners club in mid-June after beating Rory Mcllroy to clinch the U.S. Open title at the Los Angeles Country Club.
