Welcome to Essential Golf tutorials. Professional golfers Michael Jacobs & Erika Larkin guide us through learning to grip your golf club to best perfect your game. These tips will be beneficial for golfers of all skill levels.
Learning to grip your club is possibly one of the most fundamental lessons. When you’re positioning the club in your top hand, it’s important that the club sits down by where the fingers and palm meet and that it’s far away from the wrist.
You’ll want to make sure that your wrist is as far away from the grip as possible. This is a mistake that most beginners make. If you’re too close to the grip, you won’t be able to control the speed of the swing.
