Los Angeles Golf Club dismantled Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links in Match 2 of the best-of-three Finals Series to take home the 2026 TGL title.

After making a first move towards a SoFi Cup title on Monday with a 6-5 victory, Los Angeles Golf Club needed just 10 holes to take the second and final step with a 9-2 victory over Jupiter Links Golf Club.

LA, with Justin Rose, Sahith Theegala and Tommy Fleetwood, defeated a JUP team including Max Homa, Tom Kim and Tiger Woods, who returned to competitive action for the first time in more than a year to replace Kevin Kisner after recovering from a ruptured left achilles suffered in March and a collapsed disc in his spine in October.

LA earned six of its nine points Tuesday in Triples after entering the postseason as No. 2 in Triples Holes Won (18) and Triples Points Won (20).

After closing Monday’s match by throwing the Hammer on No. 15 (Stone & Steeple) and winning two points to turn a one-point deficit into a one-point victory over JUP, LA won seven points on four Hammers, with two of them being thrown on what was ultimately the final hole of the 2026 season on No. 10. As a result, the trio collected the SoFi Cup and the team first prize of $9 million.

Los Angeles Golf Club earned three of its six victories in 2026 over Jupiter Links Golf Club, including an 8-4 win on Jan. 20 in the regular season.

“We got our ass kicked in the end,” Woods said on the broadcast. “Three eagles in a row and we didn’t respond. I missed a short one at the beginning to get it started, give them momentum, and we never got it back.”

In his return to SoFi Center as a player having taken up a non-playing role throughout this point, Woods played some notable shots including a couple of drives that surpassed the 300 yard mark and an impressive eagle putt from 45 feet.

The 15-time major winner, who has donned the iconic Green Jacket on five occasions, said he “feels fine physically” as he implied that a potential Masters return next month would boil down to how his body feels.

“Just this body is — it doesn’t recover like it did when it was 24, 25,” Woods said. “It doesn’t mean I’m not trying. I’ve been trying for a while. I’ve had a couple bad injuries here over the past years that I’ve had to fight through and it’s taken some time.

“But I keep trying. I want to play. I love the tournament. I’ve loved being there since I was 19 years old. It’s meant a lot to me and my family over the years. I’m going to be there either way with The Loop that’s going up there, as well as the Champions Dinner.”

The third season of TGL is set to return in 2027.
