Which Famous Faces Will Be Teeing it Up at the Ryder Cup All-Star Celebrity Match?

Former NFL star Eli Manning, seven-time grand slam winner John McEnroe, and actress Catherine Zeta-Jones are among some of the big names set to take part in next week’s Ryder Cup All-Star Celebrity Match.

Teams made out of stars across sport, music, and film from Europe and the United States will take each other on in the one-day 10-hole scramble event on 24 September at Bethpage Black ahead of the main contest between Keegan Bradley’s Team USA and Luke Donald’s Team Europe two days later.

The teams will start at the first hole of the Black Course before skipping to the 15th where they will play the remaining four holes before returning to the 1st to begin another rotation. Two players from each team will go against each other in each of the four matches that will take place. There will be a point per hole on offer in each match with a 1/2 point being awarded to each team if there is a tie. There will be a maximum of 10 points available each match with the team to reach 20½ points taking the victory.

The 2023 iteration of the event, which was the inaugural Ryder Cup All-Star Celebrity Match, saw Team Europe, captained by Colin Montgomerie, take a 7-4 victory over the United States, captained by Corey Pavin, at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club.
