Prominent amateur golfers Jack Neville and Douglas Grant designed Pebble Beach Golf Links, which opened in 1919. Changes through the years have included Jack Nicklaus creating a new fifth hole in 1998.

Pebble Beach Golf Links is famous for its holes that run along the Pacific Ocean coast. While the par-5 18th is one of the most recognizable holes in the world, Nos. 8-10, all par 4s, compose the most difficult stretch.

Charity Benefit

Monterey Peninsula Foundation is the non-profit organization that stages the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am along with the PURE Insurance Championship on PGA TOUR Champions. In 2022, the foundation reached a fundraising milestone, surpassing $200 million.
