How Tom Hoge won in 2022
Tom Hoge birdied the 16th with an approach to within a foot and the 17th with a 22-foot putt to claim his first PGA TOUR victory at age 32. He began the round in a three-way tie for first but fell back with an even-par front nine on a day when seven players had at least a share of the lead at some point.
- Hoge had a first-round 63 at Pebble Beach, with six straight birdies on Nos. 3-8 in a round that began on the back nine.
