Course Insight

The Pete Dye Stadium Course at PGA WEST hosts the final round, while three courses are used for the first three rounds. The Stadium Course opened in 1986, a challenging layout with plenty of bunkers and water.

Notable Course Features

The par 3s are especially demanding at the Pete Dye Stadium Course, with three of them ranking among the five toughest holes in 2022. The 223- yard sixth, with waterfront and right, was the second toughest hole (behind the par-4 10th). The 195-yard 13th, with water left and front, ranked fourth. The island green, 165-yard 17th was the fifth most difficult and produced the most double bogeys or worse (19).

Charity Benefit

All proceeds generated from The American Express are donated to Coachella Valley non-profits seeking funding for projects that will benefit the underserved population in the local community.
