Stanford superstar Rose Zhang ranks number one in the WAGR women’s category as of December 2022, but the sensational player wins a lot and doesn’t seem to care much about the fete. Rose won the 2019 US Women’s Amateur and has bagged many other titles like the Annika Award and the NCAA individual title.

Ingrid Lindblad

Swedish amateur golfer Ingrid Lindblad is one of the fieriest women golfers on the planet, having risen to number two in the WAGR women’s category in August 2020 and winning the 2021 European Ladies Amateur. In 2022, she joined the Swedish team to win Espirito Santo Trophy and posted a six-under 65 in the US Women’s Open to set the amateur 18-hole scoring record.

Saki Baba

Young Japanese star Saki Baba is undoubtedly one of the world’s most talented amateur golfers. At only 17 years, Baba has already achieved what most golfers only dream of, such as winning the 2022 US Women’s Amateur and becoming the second Japanese golfer to do so. The teenager also represented Japan at the 2022 Espirito Santo Trophy in France, where her team emerged third. 

Rachel Heck

2021 Honda Sports Award recipient Rachel Heck already enjoys a decorated golfing career, despite being just in her early twenties. In 2021, Heck became the first Stanford woman and the ninth freshman to win an NCAA title. The same year, she won The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship with Team USA and finished 3rd at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

Rin Yoshida

Born and raised in Chiba, Japan, Rin Yoshida borrows her inspiration from her older sister Yuri, a professional golfer. Yoshida’s records include tying for sixth at the JHGA Spring Championship and finishing fourth at the Japan Women’s Amateur. The star could enjoy better spoils in 2023.
