Hitting a hole in one feels just as good as scoring the perfect golf resort destination. Talking Stick Resort, located in the magical Sonoran Desert surrounded by Arizona’s stunning beauty, is home to two of Scottsdale’s best championship golf courses. The AAA Four Diamond Rated Resort also includes an array of amenities, non-stop entertainment, luxury hotel accommodations and an award-winning golf club right outside its doors.
Complete with two championship golf resorts
Talking Stick Golf Club features two highly-acclaimed championship golf courses, the O’odham Course and the Piipaash Course. Named after the two tribes in the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community, each course represents two distinct backgrounds and cultures. Open to the public, each course was skillfully designed to portray golf in a traditional sense, which quietly merges with its tranquil desert surroundings.
A pristine course designed with artistry
Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw are the two designers behind the championship golf courses. The designers have a shared philosophy that traditional, strategic golf is the most rewarding and the creation of courses that present this concept with great artistry is the ultimate goal. Talking Stick Golf Club’s O’odham Course, with its broad, angular holes, rewards thoughtful play through the rise of its many options according to one’s level of skill.
Its low profile, slightly crowned greens and close-cropped approaches encourage running as well as aerial assaults. The Piipaash Course, with its tree lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play. It presents its challenge and strategy in an open and clear-cut fashion.
